2-HEADED, 6-LEGGED BABY LIZARD FOUND IN THAILAND

This week, a two-headed, six-legged baby gecko was found in Phuket, Thailand. Apparently, three men living in an apartment discovered the reptile so soon after its birth that it still had egg shell on one of its heads. The gecko, according to the men, was about the size of a baby’s finger.

Dr. Sansareeya Wangkulangkul, a biology professor at Prince of Songkhla University, said this particular find is quite special.
“This is very unusual,” she said. “House geckos usually live about one year, but I’m not sure about this one because it’s deformed. The owners could try feeding it with black ants, which will not sting the gecko, or with mealworms.”

However unique this baby gecko might be, it certainly isn’t the first two-headed reptile we’ve run into.

Nation,ThisDay men in auto crash in Ibadan

Representatives of The Nation and ThisDay newspapers in Ibadan, Oyo State, were involved in a fatal auto crash in the ancient city on the New Year day.

The sales representatives of The Nation, Timothy Adeosun, and ThisDay, Juwon Babalola, had the accident after attending the New Year eve vigil in Ibadan.

Adeosun, 23, lost his life in the accident, while Babalola sustained serious injury.

Babalola is currently receiving treatment at the Accident and Emergency Ward of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, while Adeosun’s corpse had been deposited at the teaching hospital’s mortuary.

Eyewitnesses said the accident occurred around 1.25am when a brown Acura 3.2TL saloon car, with Lagos number plate, FKJ 894 DC, driven by a young man, left its lane on Oke Padre/Mokola Road, and hit the victims who were on a dispatch motorcycle belonging to ThisDay newspaper.

Ex-worker alleges harassment after rejecting boss’ sexual advances

A former contract employee with Cormart Nigeria Limited, Peace Gabriel, has raised the alarm over an alleged attempt by her former supervisor, Mr. Patrick Ovie, to frame her for fraud.

Gabriel added that the development arose because she rejected Ovie’s alleged sexual advances.

Olokunbola Metro gathered that Gabriel, a former merchandiser with Cormart, marketed the company’s goods in Ikorodu, Oshodi, Victoria Island and Ejigbo during her two-year stay at the firm.

She said, “The way we work, we usually go out to look for anyone we can convince to buy Cormart products. After selling the products to such people, you wait for two weeks and then go to collect the money from your customers.

“But if you supplied goods to someone who bought in substantial quantity, you can give them the company form to fill and they would be given one month to make their payments.”

Gabriel said some of her customers, whom she sold goods to worth over N200,000 at Ikorodu, however, absconded without paying. They were said to be traders whose shops were demolished following the expansion of the Ikorodu road.
