A father in Niger State forgave a 62-year-old man who raped his three years old daughter after the rapist promised to treat the girl.
The culprit, Mohammed Sani, a resident of Cool-Cat area in Maitumbi of Bosso Local Government Area, was, however, arrested after the girl’s brother-in-law insisted the matter be reported at the state’s police command.
The Police Public Relation Officers, Mr Bala Elkana, said on Tuesday in Minna, that Sani committed the offence on March 4, and was arrested on March 8.
